2011 – 2013

When Prestige Financial Solutions first began in 2011 it was just Paul Inger working hard to build the business and provide the best possible service to his clients. As a sole trader this meant investing large amounts of time visiting clients and making agreements with introducers.

All this could not have been possible without the support and management of Tracey Best, who is now the longest serving member of the team alongside Paul Inger.

2014 – 2017

Due to Paul Inger’s hard work and continued commitment, the company could boast a large bank of satisfied clients, who constantly refer our services to their family, friends and colleagues.

At the start of 2014 Paul was joined in the business by Paul Hurt another qualified Advisor to aid the expansion of the business and to create an established Brand, along with creating links to further introducers. Approaching established Estate Agents, Accountants and Solicitors to increase client facing opportunities.

We currently work alongside six Estate Agents within Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, and work on behalf of several Accountancy firms to galvanise their commitment and services to their clients.

Due to the expansion and growth of the business investment was required on larger premises, office equipment and systems, this has since allowed the company to employ a further three Mortgage and Protection Advisors to optimise opportunities but to also offer the levels of service we profess to offer under our Unique Selling Point guidelines.


In April 2017, the company made the transition from Sole Trader to Limited Company and continue to be a leading force within the region. We are making more links within the community and have tied ourselves to Bluebell Wood Hospice as our chosen charity, being a member of their 365 Bluebell Business Club gives us an understanding of how they help Families at their time of need, but also give us the platform to get involved and meet other like-minded business owners from within and outside the area.

We currently sponsor the following Teams, persons or associations

  • Dinnington Town Football Club – Under 7’s.
  • Rotherham United Ladies Football Team.
  • Fernando Forrestieri – Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.

Our goal for the near future is to be No.1 in our region for Mortgage and Protection Advice, in order to deliver on our aim we will continue to work hard for our clients to find them the best solution, for the most cost efficient method in a professional and effective environment.

Paul Inger / Prestige Financial Solutions



The sole founding member of Prestige Mortgages, Paul had been working in a mortgage and protection environment since 2007 but decided it was time to go it alone in 2011, mainly to make sure he could fully service the needs of his clients as an adviser with access to a large and comprehensive panel of lenders and protection providers.

Over the years Paul has built up a thriving business, with all his clients passing on glowing reviews and referring him to friends and family for their mortgage and protection needs to be cared for as much as theirs.

Outside of work Paul is kept busy by his young family but he also likes to follow football as much as possible.

Paul Hurt / Prestige Financial Solutions



Paul previously worked with Halifax as a mortgage adviser, during which time he also studied at university and gained his degree in Business and Management Accounts (BA Hons).

In the past Paul has worked in the Construction Industry in various Management Roles and made the logical step from building houses to providing Advice on Mortgages and Protections. Joining Prestige Financial Solutions in 2014 as a Self-Employed Advisor he has helped grow the company in to a Regional Leader, expanding Networks and Relationships with Estate Agents, Accountants and Solicitors. He has built up an impressive list of happy clients who are also referring him to their friends and family. Paul also writes Will’s and Lasting Power of Attorney’s for clients to offer them a comprehensive service.

Outside of work Paul is an avid football supporter going Home and Away and likes to go to the gym and spend time with family and friends. Holidays are his biggest passion, going to different places at every chance when time allows.

Tracey Best / Prestige Financial Solutions



Initially Tracey provided 5 hours a week of admin support for Paul and Prestige Mortgages but over the years, and with the increase in demand for Paul’s services, she now works for us full time (and could not imagine being anywhere else!).

Tracey has been in the mortgage and insurance business since leaving school in 1994, and has been working continuously behind the scenes to help Paul build the business to the level it is today. In December 2015 Tracey passed her mortgage exams and was the 5th adviser to join the team.

Outside of work Tracey loves to spend lots of time with her family and as much time as possible by the sea.

Ash Baker / Prestige Financial Solutions



Ash is the 6th adviser to join the team here at Prestige and we are very happy to have him on board. Ash joined us in 2017 and is our resident new build and help to buy specialist.

Jade Sumpter / Prestige Financial Solutions



Jade joined Prestige in August 2019 initially as an Administration Assistant and quickly learned the ropes, supporting our ever expanding business.

To further expand our services Jade trained as a Will & Protection Specialist and then shortly after this passed her CeMAP mortgage exams and was promoted to become our newest adviser in September 2020. She is our in house Will service specialist so we can offer an ever more all in one solution for our valued clients.

Mick Oxley / Prestige Financial Solutions



You wouldn’t believe it, but Mick is actually the oldest member of the team. With a background in engineering 1999 brought a change of direction and he studied to become an Independent Financial Adviser.

Concentrating mainly in giving advice on mortgages, family protection and business protection in a friendly and easy to understand manner.

Outside of work Mick’s main hobby is showing and judging dogs, he has bred and owned many Champions, has been a championship show judge for over 25 years and judges both in the UK and abroad, twice at Crufts and also presents and speaks at seminars both here and in Europe.

Joe Thompson / Prestige Financial Solutions: Mortgage Adviser & Protection Specialist



Joe joined Prestige in August 2020, a fully qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser looking for the perfect place to work, cue Prestige!!

With a background in the RAF he is our resident Forces Help to Buy specialist. He has quickly settled in to become a valued member of the team and is rivalling Toni in the coffee making stakes!

Toni Newham / Prestige Financial Solutions



Toni joined us in September 2017 and is a vital part of our back office, following up mortgage applications, valuations, solicitors and life companies then providing updates to clients.

Toni quickly fitted into the team and has established fantastic relationships with clients, lenders and protection providers.

Many of our happy clients have mentioned how happy they were with Toni when they have left us reviews on Facebook, we really appreciate the support she provides to the advisers so they can be on the road knowing that the office is well looked after in their absence.

She also makes a mean cup of coffee!

Jaki Laird / Prestige Financial Solutions: Financial Services Administrator



Jaki joined us in August 2020 and despite the challenges of a busy office and the delays that COVID-19 was causing she found her feet incredibly fast and is a valued member of the team, helping us give all our clients the service they expect.

Jaki also brings in vegetables from her allotment for us which is much healthier than the usual sweets and cakes around the office!
